After picking you up from your hotel, we'll visit the walled city of ancient Delhi. Inside this fortified area, we'll explore the impressive Jama Masjid mosque: one of the largest mosques in India, with domes and minarets visible from many parts of the city.

The tour continues as we admire the renowned Red Fort. This 17th-century palace complex, a World Heritage Site, was commissioned by Shah Jahan I, the emperor of the Mughal Dynasty, who also built Agra's Taj Mahal.

From the Red Fort, we'll start a rickshaw ride that will take us through the bustling Chandni Chowk Bazaar, to the Raj Ghat memorial, and finally to Gandhi's tomb. Here, we will reflect on the legacy of this prominent leader in the pacifist movement as we visit this significant monument.

In the afternoon, after some free time for lunch, we'll proceed to New Delhi to see the Qutab Minar, the largest brick-built minaret in the world. Interestingly, it was constructed to surpass another tower in Afghanistan, which was the tallest at that time.

Finally, we will admire the architecture of the Gates of India, along with the national parliament and the presidential palace, before returning to your hotel in Delhi.
