This tour offers two options, a sunrise tour and a morning tour:

Sunrise tour

Pickup is at 3 am from your hotel in Delhi, followed by a 3-hour drive to Agra, the former capital of the Mughal Empire. The first stop will be the Taj Mahal, a 18th century monument recognized as one of the 7 Wonders of the World.

During sunrise, you will explore the Islamic, Persian, and Turkish-style gardens before entering the mausoleum. The guide will share the story behind this memorial to the emperor’s wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Next, the tour continues to Agra Fort, the largest fort in India and a World Heritage Site. Then, a stop at a local restaurant for breakfast (not included) precedes a visit to the best viewpoint of the Taj Mahal along the Yamuna River.

Return to Delhi is expected around 1 pm.

Morning tour

For those preferring a later start, this option features a 6:30 am pickup and follows a similar itinerary. The tour begins at the banks of the Yamuna River with a guided tour of the Taj Mahal.

Afterward, visit Agra Fort, constructed by Emperor Akbar, followed by lunch at a local restaurant around 1 pm. The tour concludes with more views of the Taj Mahal before heading back to Delhi, arriving around 6 pm.

Entrance tickets

Tickets for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are not included. The total cost for both is 30 USD per person.
