Upon arriving in India, you will be greeted at Delhi airport and taken to a conveniently located hotel, providing a comfortable space to unwind after your travels.

Day 2: Exploring Delhi

Following breakfast, we will venture to Chandni Chowk, a vibrant commercial hub situated in the heart of Old Delhi. Our exploration will include a stroll through Raj Ghat park, the site of Gandhi’s cremation.

Next, we will transition to New Delhi, where we’ll view significant government buildings including the Parliament and the President's residence. A stop at the India Gate (Arch of Triumph) will allow us to honor the 90,000 Indian Army soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. Our day will conclude with visits to the Sikh temple and the Akshardham temple, whose construction involved the dedication of 3,000 volunteers.

After a fulfilling day, we will return to the hotel.

Day 3: Journey to Jaipur

After enjoying breakfast, we will depart for Jaipur, the enchanting pink city.

You will be dropped off at a local hotel for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, we will collect you to explore the beautiful Birla Mandir, notable for its stunning white marble architecture.

Later, we will ascend Moti Dungri Hill before concluding our day and returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Amber Citadel and Jaipur

On day four, we will travel from Jaipur to Amber to visit the exquisite 16th-century citadel, where a magnificent sandstone palace awaits. A jeep will take us to this remarkable enclosure.

Upon returning to Jaipur, we will tour the Maharaja's Palace, a vast complex featuring opulent rooms and gardens, and housing the Haharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum. Here, you will discover an impressive collection of carpets, weapons, and artwork that narrates India’s rich history.

We will conclude our museum visit by taking you back to your Jaipur hotel.

Day 5: Jaipur to Agra

Our fifth day marks the departure from Jaipur to Agra, another iconic destination within the Golden Triangle.

After checking into a hotel in Agra for lunch and some downtime, we will spend the afternoon at the Red Fort of Lal Qila. This UNESCO World Heritage site is filled with historical edifices, including the Khas Mahal and Anguri Bagh.

After our exploration, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner and relaxation.

Day 6: The Taj Mahal and Return to Delhi

After breakfast, we will travel to the banks of the Yamuna River to visit the breathtaking Taj Mahal, recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the World (note it is closed on Fridays). The captivating story of love tied to this 17th-century mausoleum will be shared during our visit.

This exceptional example of Mughal architecture was commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved. The mausoleum is now a major attraction for visitors to India.

After our time at the Taj Mahal, we will return to the hotel in Delhi, where you first began your journey.

The tour will begin at the sacred site of Swambhunath, widely known as the Monkey Temple. Next, we will proceed to the Temple of the Living Goddess, thought to have been constructed from a single tree.

We will wrap up our tour with a visit to the historic Durbar Square, home to the ancient royal palace of Kathmandu.
