Ebro Delta Natural Park Ecomuseum Tour

In this guided tour of the Ecomuseum of the Ebro Delta, we will learn about the origin and history of this natural park, as well as spot the ullal and a laúd, a traditional boat.

Ebro Delta Natural Park Ecomuseum Tour

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the entrance of the Ecomuseum of the Ebro Delta, located on Carrer Dr. Martí Buera. This open-air interpretation center provides insights into the landscapes of the Ebro Delta Natural Park.

During the visit, we will explore the delta's origin, history, and main ecosystems. We will first observe a model of the Ebro Delta and learn about its formation.

Next, we will go outside to see a representation of the Ebro River, its canals, orchards, and rice fields. Additionally, a reconstruction of the barracks used for rice cultivation, fishing, and birdwatching is on display, along with a laúd, the typical boat of the area.

We will pass by the aquariums and terrariums to observe various species of local fauna. The tour continues with a walk through the forest along the delta banks and the ullal, a unique freshwater spring.

Finally, the tour will conclude as we return to the starting point.
