River Ebro Seafood Workshop + Mussel Tasting

We'll meet at the specified time on the promenade of Riumar to begin our activity focused on shellfish fishing, an ancient tradition of the Ebro Delta.

Participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at fishing for shellfish and will learn about extraction techniques used by fishermen's ancestors and the ancient tools employed. The workshop will include insights about various shellfish types found in the area, including details on their reproduction and their ecological importance in the Ebro Delta Natural Park.

During the workshop, we will take a walk along the beach of Riumar, reaching Isla Margarita, a prime seafood area at the mouth of the Ebro River.

After our walk, we will enjoy a tapa of fresh mussels from the Ebro Delta, accompanied by a beer, soft drink, or glass of wine from Tierra Alta, at a beachfront restaurant.

We will conclude our experience and return to the meeting point after a total of 2 hours.
