Tour Details
At the indicated time we'll meet at the famous sculpture, The Big Sweep, to begin our guided tour of Denver. We will learn the history and secrets of the city through its historic buildings and emblematic spaces.
We'll walk a few steps to the Colorado Women's History Center, a museum in a 19th-century mansion. Here, we will discover the story of women involved in the Great Western Expansion, providing a perspective on the region's history.
Next, we will visit the Colorado State Capitol, built in the late 19th century, to learn about the city's founding and state development.
We will continue to Downtown to see the historic Brown Palace Hotel, built in 1890, known for its atrium-style architecture and its history related to gambling and speakeasies.
Finally, we will cross the 16th Street Mall to reach Larimer Square, this tree-lined square with historic facades will mark the end of our 2-hour guided tour.
