Day Trip Details

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Munnar at 9:30 am. From there, we will embark on an exciting 4x4 journey westward towards the lush forests of Anakulam. Prepare to encounter elephants in their undisturbed habitat!

Approximately two hours into the trip, we will reach the Anakulam elephant viewpoint, situated near a tranquil lake where these magnificent creatures frequent to bathe and quench their thirst. You'll have the chance to observe them from less than 165 feet (50 meters) away!

As we take in the sights of the elephants and their young, you'll learn fascinating insights about these gentle giants. Are you aware of why they hold a sacred status in India? Or how many years they can thrive? These questions will be explored during our journey!

After capturing all the memories with photos, we will make our way back to the jeep for a return trip to your hotel, where this enriching excursion wraps up around 6 pm.
