On this tour of Ushaiqer, we'll visit one of the oldest villages in Saudi Arabia and explore an authentic oasis full of history.

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Riyadh and drive northwest to Ushaiqer. After approximately two hours of travel, we'll arrive at Ushaiqer, a World Heritage Site noted for its historical significance and located at the foot of a large red mountain. Upon arrival, we will walk through its streets and learn about its history, which spans over a millennium.

Ushaiqer has served as a reference point for pilgrims traveling to Mecca due to its freshwater springs and extensive olive and palm plantations, providing shade from the desert heat.

During the tour, we will navigate its narrow streets and view traditional Najdi-style houses, along with elegant palaces and ancient mosques.

We will also visit the Al Salem Museum, showcasing local heritage through displays of ancient tools, embroidered clothing, jewelry, and weapons.

Before returning to Riyadh, we'll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the desert. We will conclude the tour and drop you off at your hotel approximately 8 hours after the tour starts.
