On this tour of Ushaiqer we'll visit one of the oldest villages in Saudi Arabia and travel through the desert to discover an authentic oasis full of history.

Ushaiqer Village Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Riyadh and head northwest to Ushaiqer, one of the oldest villages in the region. After approximately two hours of driving, we'll reach Ushaiqer, a World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we'll begin to walk through its streets, learning about its past as a point of reference for pilgrims travelling to Mecca from Kuwait.

During the tour, we'll walk through narrow streets and admire traditional Najdi-style houses, elegant palaces, and ancient mosques. We will also visit the Al Salem Museum, showcasing local heritage through exhibits of ancient tools, embroidered clothing, jewellery, and weapons.

Before returning to Riyadh, we'll stop for a delicious picnic lunch in the desert. We'll leave Ushaiqer and provide transport back to your hotel, completing the tour approximately 8 hours after it began.
