Cultural Tour of Guaitil

We will meet at the evangelical church of Guaitil, located just outside of Santa Cruz in the Guanacaste province. From there, we will embark on a route through the traditional village of Guaitil.

During our stroll, we will encounter the preserved 'tica' culture, characterized by the warm hospitality of the locals. We will explore the rich indigenous history of the area and the founding of Guaitil. Our route will include a discussion of the main local trade: art pieces made from mud and clay, a practice dating back to pre-Hispanic times, as well as culinary techniques prevalent in local dishes.

After the village tour, we will visit a local family's home for an authentic Costa Rican experience. You can select one of the following activities during the booking process:
