Kayak Tour Details

At the designated time, pickup will be from the airport, port, or your hotel in Doha, followed by approximately 1 hour of travel to the Al Thakira Reserve. Upon arrival, there will be a brief introduction to the area's fauna and flora along with basic instructions on how to paddle and safety advice for navigating the mangrove ecosystem.

The tour lasts 4 hours, during which we will paddle through the mangrove canals, observing herons, flamingos, and other local birdlife. Various stops will be made for photos and to enjoy the landscape's tranquillity.

Midway through the tour, there will be a 30-minute pause at a small island within the mangroves for rest, hydration, and a snack. Participants are advised to bring their own snacks.

After the break, we'll resume our kayak route to continue exploring the canals. Upon return to dry land, kayak equipment will be returned before heading back to Doha, concluding the tour after 6 hours.
