Kayak Tour Details

Picks up will be conducted from the airport, port, or your hotel in Doha. The travel time to Al Thakira Reserve is approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival, a brief introduction to the area's fauna and flora will be given, along with basic instructions on how to paddle and essential safety advice.

The tour lasts 4 hours, during which participants will paddle through mangrove canals and observe herons, flamingos, and other local birdlife. Various stops will be made for photos and to appreciate the landscape.

Midway through the tour, a 30-minute break will occur at a small island within the mangroves, allowing time to rest, rehydrate, and eat. Participants are advised to bring a snack.

After the break, the group will continue exploring the canals before returning to dry land. The total duration of the tour is 6 hours, concluding with the return of kayak equipment and travel back to Doha.
