Description

At the established time, we'll meet in Bengoetxea Street in San Sebastian and travel just 20 minutes to visit a traditional cider house.

Upon arrival, we'll tour the facilities of the Basque cider house, exploring the apple orchards, the cellars, the production process, and the history linking cider with the Basque Country.

After the tour, we'll perform the Txotx ritual, which involves drinking the apple broth directly from the vats. While tasting, we'll enjoy a menu that includes a traditional appetizer, cod omelet, fried cod with peppers, grilled T-bone steak, and cheese with quince jelly and walnuts.

The tour will conclude after four hours, returning to the starting point in San Sebastián.

Depending on the season and availability, we'll visit one of the following cider houses: Aburuza, Astarbe, Petritegi, Iparragirre, or Saizar.
