Embark on a captivating boat journey through the Gulf of Orosei, where an array of stunning coastal vistas along the East Coast of Sardinia await your discovery. A truly enchanting experience lies ahead!
Trip Overview
We'll convene at the designated meeting point on Via Cala Luna 1, before proceeding to the port to initiate our boat excursion in the Gulf of Orosei. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
Throughout the voyage, you'll encounter various coves, gorges and the most picturesque locations along this stunning slice of Sardinia's eastern shoreline. Weather permitting, we’ll make several thirty-minute stops at celebrated beaches like Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu, and Cala Sisine. Be prepared to be captivated by the enchanting, crystal-clear waters!
Additionally, we'll take brief pauses at Piscina Venere and Cala Goloritzé to capture breathtaking photos against these magnificent backdrops. Did you know that Cala Goloritzé emerged due to a landslide in the 1960s?
While aboard, indulge in a toast with a glass of wine and savor a slice of a traditional Italian cake from the onboard bar—the ideal way to enhance your experience!
After a fulfilling day, we’ll return to the starting point following 7 to 8 hours at sea.
Exploration of Grotta del Bue Marino
When booking your trip, you can opt for a package that includes a visit to the Grotta del Bue Marino. This exciting option allows you to explore one of the region's most renowned caves, where you’ll have the opportunity to disembark and embark on a 1-kilometer guided walking tour to discover the habitat of the monk seals that grace the Sardinian coast.
After approximately 1 hour spent at the grotto, we will reconvene on the boat and continue our adventure around the Gulf of Orosei.
Note: Admission to the Grotta del Bue Marino is not included. You will need to obtain the ticket in advance based on the instructions provided after booking, or purchase it at the ticket office on the day of your visit. Accessing the cave without this ticket will not be possible.
Itinerary Details
Please be advised that during the peak tourist season, the itinerary may alter based on the volume of boats and visitors. We ensure that you will have 3 to 4 stops at varying coves and 2 swimming breaks.
Bear in mind that stopovers will depend on the prevailing weather conditions and the capacity limits of each beach. Swimming will occur near the boat rather than directly onshore, with locations decided by the captain.
Additionally, be informed that, due to local regulations, we might not be able to moor at Cala Luna. Should this be the case, we will anchor at a different beach nearby.
Languages Offered
You will enjoy recorded commentary during the boat ride, delivered in multiple languages based on the predominant nationality of the guests. If you select the option including a visit to the Grotta del Bue Marino, keep in mind that the recordings inside the cave will be offered solely in Italian and English.
