Hiking Routes

The hiking path will be determined by the specific day you choose to join us. All excursions will kick off at 9 am from Viale Kennedy in Dorgali and conclude at the same location:

Cala Luna Route (Friday)

For adventurers who prefer coastal trekking, we will utilize a 4x4 to transport us to Cala Gonone, where a four-and-a-half-hour hike to Cala Luna awaits. Renowned as one of Sardinia's most stunning beaches, Cala Luna features azure waters, sandy shores, sea caves, and soaring cliffs. It truly is a treasure of the Gulf of Orosei!

Upon arrival in the bay, you will enjoy two and a half hours of leisure time to relax and take a well-deserved swim. Following this, we will navigate back through the Codula di Luna canyon, wrapping up the route by 7 pm.

Gorropu Gorge Route (Saturday)

Choosing the Gorropu Gorge route means traveling by jeep to the entrance of Gorropu Gorge. The adventure continues with a five-hour hike through one of Europe's most profound gorges, where you can admire its impressive cliffs and the large community of golden eagles soaring overhead.

During this excursion, we will pause at various points to rest and capture photographs. Additionally, you will have an hour of free time to enjoy lunch amidst this stunning natural backdrop. The route will conclude at 5 pm.

Mount Tiscali Route (Sunday)

For those captivated by both history and nature, the trekking experience on Mount Tiscali promises to be engaging throughout. We will first take a 4x4 to reach the trailhead. From there, a four and a half hour trek will lead us up this mountain in the Gulf of Orosei, as we make our way to an ancient Nuragic settlement.

When we arrive at this fascinating archaeological site, we will delve into the lives of this ancient civilization, sharing intriguing tales about their defensive structures and how their existence came to an end with the rise of the Roman Empire. After this exploration, an hour will be allocated for a leisurely lunch in the picturesque setting of Mount Tiscali, concluding the activity by 4 pm.
