Upon pickup from your hotel in San Salvador de Jujuy at the designated time, we will head north toward Calilegua National Park, located approximately two and a half hours away.

During the trip, we will pass through the cities of San Pedro de Jujuy and Libertador General San Martin, where our guide will discuss the significance of sugar cane in the region and the history of the colonial haciendas.

Upon arrival at Calilegua National Park, we will exit the vehicle to explore the nature reserve, learning about its history, flora, and fauna. The park, protected since 1979, houses over 120 tree species, numerous ferns, and more than 400 species of mammals and birds, including toucans, tapirs, coatis, and jaguars.

Next, we will proceed to the Mesada de las Colmenas area at 1,900 meters (6,234 feet) above sea level for scenic views of the natural landscape.

Afterward, you will have time for lunch with your packed food. Finally, we will return to San Salvador de Jujuy, covering about 400 kilometers, and you will arrive at your hotel approximately 11 hours after pickup.
