We'll pick you up from your hotel in San Salvador de Jujuy at the scheduled time and head towards Calilegua National Park, located approximately two and a half hours away.

During the journey, we'll pass through the cities of San Pedro de Jujuy and Libertador General San Martin. Our guide will discuss the significance of sugar cane in the region and the history of colonial haciendas where it was harvested.

At Calilegua National Park, we'll exit the vehicle to learn about the reserve’s history, plants, and wildlife. The park has been protected since 1979 and is home to more than 120 types of trees, numerous ferns, and over 400 different species of mammals and birds, including toucans, tapirs, coatis, and jaguars.

Next, we'll visit the Mesada de las Colmenas area, situated at 1,900 meters (6,234 feet) above sea level, offering stunning landscapes. You'll have some time for lunch with your packed food. Finally, we will return to San Salvador de Jujuy, reaching your hotel after approximately 11 hours and covering about 400 kilometers.
