We will pick you up from your hotel in San Salvador de Jujuy and set off to the north towards Calilegua National Park, approximately two and a half hours away.

During the journey, we will pass through San Pedro de Jujuy and Libertador General San Martin. Our guide will share insights on the importance of sugar cane in the region and the history of the colonial haciendas.

Upon reaching Calilegua National Park, we will exit the vehicle to learn about the nature reserve, its history, and its diverse flora and fauna. The park, protected since 1979, hosts over 120 tree species, various ferns, and more than 400 different species of mammals and birds, including toucans, tapirs, coatis, and jaguars.

We will continue to the Mesada de las Colmenas area, where we will enjoy landscapes at an altitude of 1,900 meters (6,234 feet). Afterward, you will have a few minutes to have lunch with your packed food. Finally, we will begin the return transfer to San Salvador de Jujuy, arriving back at your hotel approximately 11 hours after pickup, covering about 400 kilometers.
