We will pick you up from your hotel in San Salvador de Jujuy at the designated time and depart towards Calilegua National Park, located approximately two and a half hours away.

During the journey, we'll pass the cities of San Pedro de Jujuy and Libertador General San Martin. Our guide will discuss the significance of sugar cane in the area and the history of colonial haciendas associated with its harvesting.

Upon reaching Calilegua National Park, we will disembark and begin exploring the nature reserve, learning about its history and the diverse flora and fauna. The park, protected since 1979, is home to over 120 types of trees, numerous ferns, and more than 400 species of mammals and birds, including toucans, tapirs, coatis, and jaguars.

We will then proceed to the Mesada de las Colmenas area at 1,900 meters (6,234 feet) above sea level to enjoy the stunning landscapes. Afterward, you will have time to have lunch with your packed food. Finally, we'll return to San Salvador de Jujuy, arriving at your hotel approximately 11 hours after pickup, having covered about 400 kilometers.
