Discover the historic customs and traditions of the Argentinean community of Hornaditas with this trip from Jujuy.
Hornaditas Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Jujuy to start a route through the north of Argentina.
We will make the first stop at the Quebrada de Sapagua, where we will take a one-hour walk to discover the wall paintings of Sapagua. You will learn about the different figures of this rock art and their interpretations, as well as the historical evolution of this area during the Inca and Spanish periods.
Next, we will continue to the nearby community of Hornaditas. The inhabitants will show us the main customs and traditions of their culture, including how to operate traditional looms, cook local products, and handcraft clay ornaments. We will share a traditional lunch with several local dishes.
After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Jujuy, arriving at 6 pm.
