Al Bidya Mosque & Fujairah Fort Trip
Pickup from hotels in Dubai occurs between 8:30 and 9 am for an hour's journey to the Friday Market, near Masafi. Along the way, enjoy views of mountains and agricultural areas of Al Dhaid. At the market, explore various stalls selling fruits, vegetables, carpets, and toys.
Following the market, the tour continues to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Fujairah, the second largest mosque in the UAE, accommodating up to 28,000 worshippers. Next, visit the Fujairah Fort, built in 1670, which served as a key defensive structure. Learn about its history and view the restored houses representing traditional Emirati life.
Proceed to Khor Fakan, admiring the waterfall, before reaching the Al Bidya Mosque, constructed in 1446 and the oldest mosque still standing. An ancient Roman theater will also be included in the visit. Afterward, spend two and a half hours in Fujairah for lunch, with a return trip to the hotels expected between 4:30 and 5 pm.
Lunch
For those who book lunch, a buffet will be provided at a hotel with a private beach, including water and soft drinks. If opting not to include lunch, you can dine at a Fujairah restaurant of your choice during your free time.
