Looking for plans near Dubai? This tour along the east coast of the United Arab Emirates will take you to towns such as Khor Fakan and Al Bidya - you'll even get to see the country's oldest mosque!
Al Bidya Mosque & Fujairah Fort Trip
After picking you up from your hotels in Dubai between 8:30 and 9 am, we'll set off on an hour's journey to the Friday Market, near Masafi. You will leave the skyscrapers of Dubai behind and enjoy views of mountains and agricultural areas of Al Dhaid. At the market, explore stalls offering fruits, vegetables, carpets, toys, and more.
Post market visit, we will travel to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Fujairah, the second largest mosque in the UAE, accommodating up to 28,000 worshippers. Following this, we’ll head to the Fujairah Fort, built in 1670, the oldest fort in the country and a former defensive stronghold. You will learn about its significance and see traditional Emirati houses nearby.
Next, admire Khor Fakan's waterfall en route to the Al Bidya Mosque, built in 1446 in the Hajar mountains, and the oldest mosque still standing. An ancient Roman theater will also be visited before returning to Fujairah, where you will have two and a half hours for lunch, with a return to hotels between 4:30 and 5 pm.
Lunch
If you book this excursion with lunch, you will enjoy a buffet lunch at a hotel with a private beach, including water and soft drinks. If you opt for lunch without the package, you will have time to eat at a Fujairah restaurant of your choice.
