Looking for plans near Dubai? This tour along the east coast of the United Arab Emirates will take you to towns such as Khor Fakan and Al Bidya, including a visit to the country’s oldest mosque.
Al Bidya Mosque & Fujairah Fort Trip
After picking you up from your hotels in Dubai between 8:30 and 9 am, we will set out on an hour's journey to the Friday Market, near Masafi. During the trip, we will pass through the agricultural areas of Al Dhaid. At the market, you can explore stalls full of fruits, vegetables, carpets, and toys.
Next, we will visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Fujairah, the second largest mosque in the UAE, accommodating up to 28,000 worshippers. Following the mosque, we will head to Fujairah Fort, built in 1670, the oldest fort in the UAE, which served as a residence for high officials. We will also explore restored houses showcasing traditional Emirati life near the fort.
We will continue through Khor Fakan, admiring its waterfall, before reaching Al Bidya Mosque, built in 1446, making it the oldest mosque still standing today. We will also visit an ancient Roman theater. After this, we will return to Fujairah, where you will have two and a half hours for lunch. We expect to return to the hotels between 4:30 and 5 pm.
Lunch
If you book this excursion with lunch, you will enjoy a buffet lunch at a hotel with a private beach, including water and soft drinks. If you choose the option without lunch, you will have time to eat at a Fujairah restaurant of your choice.
