Day Trip to Ireland's West Coast: What to Expect
Meeting at the Molly Malone Statue in Dublin at 6:50 am, we will board a comfortable coach and travel through the Irish countryside, passing sites like the Guinness Factory and Kilmainham Jail. The journey to the Cliffs of Moher provides views of the picturesque villages and castle ruins of the Emerald Isle.
The Cliffs of Moher
At the Cliffs of Moher, reaching heights of 214m (702 feet), you will walk along the rugged cliffs and appreciate the Irish coastline's beauty. There will also be a stop at the Visitor Centre, which features multimedia displays of the caves beneath the cliffs.
Doolin Village
Next, we visit Doolin, known for traditional Irish music. You will have free time to have lunch in a local pub and view the Aran Islands.
The Burren
Following lunch, we will explore The Burren, characterized by its rocky landscape and unique shades of grey. A coastal walk will allow us to appreciate the distinct scenery and native vegetation.
Galway City
Our next stop is Galway, featuring cobblestone streets, castles, and live music. Explore the remnants of the Medieval town walls in this historic city.
Return Journey to Dublin
After this full-day tour, we will return to Dublin, dropping you off on Dame Street around 7:30 pm, with commentary and Irish music during the journey.
