Upon your arrival, you will be treated to a 20-minute video presentation that offers an in-depth insight into Oscar Wilde's life along with fascinating stories of his remarkable parents. This introductory film prepares you for your exploration of the house, commencing with the stunning library belonging to Oscar’s father, Sir William Wilde, found on the ground floor.

As you enter the house via the back staircase, a captivating display of artwork by Aubrey Beardsley, known for illustrating Wilde’s play, "Salome," awaits. Ascending further, you will arrive at Sir William Wilde’s consultation room, once a medical practice and family residence, encapsulating a unique blend of scientific achievement and literary brilliance.

Next, you will advance to the dining room and the Speranza room. With breathtaking views of the Oscar Wilde statue across the street, these spaces were formerly host to Speranza’s salons—elegant gatherings organized by Wilde’s mother that drew notable individuals from Ireland, the UK, and the US.

Continuing your ascent to the third floor, you will explore the historic and charming bedrooms of Wilde’s parents. The tour culminates at the peak of the house, where you can visit Oscar’s childhood nursery.
