Description
Located by St Stephen's Green, the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) is created through a partnership between University College Dublin and the National Library of Ireland. The museum occupies two Georgian houses and the Victorian assembly hall of the former university, offering a comprehensive look at the country's literary heritage.
The various rooms feature immersive multimedia exhibitions on Irish literary figures, exploring the evolution of Ireland's literary culture from medieval storytelling to contemporary writers.
The museum also exhibits several treasures from the National Library of Ireland, including the first publication of Ulysses by James Joyce, providing insights into its significance to Irish culture.
Hours
The Museum of Literature Ireland is open Tuesday - Sunday, from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. Please note that these opening hours are subject to change.
