Glendalough, Wicklow & Kilkenny Day Trip

At 8 am, we will depart from Dublin City Gallery to the Wicklow Mountains. During the drive in an air-conditioned bus, enjoy the scenery featured in films such as P.S. I Love You and Braveheart. A 10-minute stop will be made for photo opportunities.

Upon arrival at Glendalough, you will have 2 hours to explore the area, which includes the Glendalough Monastic Site dating back to the 10th century, as well as lakes and waterfalls.

Next, experience a demonstration by a local farmer and his sheepdog using whistle commands to round up sheep. If possible, observe a puppy in training with lambs.

Your trip continues to the village of Kilkenny, where you will have 2 hours to explore its cobbled streets and visit historical castles. Noteworthy sites include the Black Abbey and the Cathedral of Saint Canice with its round tower.

After a comprehensive day, we will return to Dublin by bus, arriving between 6 pm and 6:30 pm.
