Arriving at Glendalough, you'll have 2 hours to explore, which includes the Glendalough Monastic Site from the 10th century, and the area's lakes and waterfalls.
Next, you will observe a local farmer and his sheepdog using whistle commands to manage a herd of sheep. A puppy in training and lambs may also be present.
The tour then proceeds to the village of Kilkenny, where you will have 2 hours to walk its cobbled streets and visit castles in what was once Ireland's medieval capital. Sites include the Black Abbey and the Cathedral of Saint Canice with its round tower.
