Explore Ireland's green landscapes on this tour to the Glendalough valley, where St. Kevin founded a monastery in the 6th Century, as well as Wicklow and Kilkenny.

Glendalough, Wicklow & Kilkenny Day Trip

At 8 am, we will depart from Dublin City Gallery to the Wicklow Mountains. During the drive in an air-conditioned bus, there will be a 10-minute stop for photo opportunities of the scenic views featured in Hollywood films.

Upon arrival at Glendalough, you will have 2 hours to explore the area, including the Glendalough Monastic Site from the 10th century, as well as the lakes and waterfalls that characterize this significant green space.

After Glendalough, observe a local farmer and a sheepdog using whistle commands to manage a herd of sheep, with the possibility of seeing a puppy in training and lambs.

The next stop is the village of Kilkenny, where you will have 2 hours to explore its cobbled streets and visit historical castles from Ireland's medieval past. Potential sites include the Black Abbey and the Cathedral of Saint Canice with its round tower.

After a day of discovering Ireland's beauty and heritage, we will return to Dublin by bus, arriving between 6 pm and 6:30 pm.
