Discover Dublin's treasures with a guided tour of the Book of Kells, Trinity College's Old Library, Dublin Castle, and George's Street Arcade.

Book of Kells & Dublin Castle Tour

We will meet at the Edmund Burke Statue at the designated time. The first stop is the Book of Kells, a 1,200-year-old Celtic manuscript housed in Trinity College's Old Library. The tour includes an overview of the book's origins, symbolism, painting techniques, and the roles of monks and Vikings in its preservation.

You will have free time to explore the library, including the Long Room, which contains 20,000 of the world's oldest preserved books.

Next, we will proceed to Dublin Castle, originally built in the 13th century. This historic site has served various roles, including fortress and seat of English power in Ireland. The guided exterior tour will cover its gardens, the Record and Octagonal Towers, and the Upper and Lower State Yards.

Our adventure continues at the George’s Street Arcade, featuring nearly 50 shops and restaurants. We will also pay respects to the statue of Molly Malone. The tour concludes after 3 hours near Dublin Castle. Slán!
