When making your booking, you'll choose between two routes. Both tours start at 10 am, last 4 hours, and include hotel pickup, bus transport, and an English-speaking guide. Below are the details of each option:
Durango Guided Tour + Mining Tunnel Museum
After hotel pickup, we will visit the Plaza de Armas to see the Durango Cathedral. Next, we'll head to the Museum of Sacred Art to explore colonial Christianisation and local faith mysteries. Following this, we will visit the Mining Tunnel Museum to observe mining tools and minerals like quartz and hematite. We will also discuss the Holy Inquisition in the Plazuela Baca Ortiz and the history of the Calle de los Ahorcados. The tour will conclude at the Conde del Valle de Súchil Palace.
Durango Guided Tour + Francisco Villa Museum
This option includes visits to the Plaza de Armas, Museum of Sacred Art, Calle de los Ahorcados, and Plazuela Baca Ortiz. After exploring Durango, we will visit the Francisco Villa Museum in the Zambrano Palace to learn about the Mexican Revolution and the role of Pancho Villa as a military figure.
