La Ferrería & El Pueblito Day Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel and embark on a day trip to explore some of Durango State's most significant locations.
Our first stop will be the La Ferrería archaeological site, where we will learn about the lifestyles of tribes such as the Nahua and Tepehuano. Visitors can view a ball game, traditional housing, terraced houses, and petroglyphs that showcase the settlement's history.
Next, we will visit the former hacienda La Ferrería de Flores, established in 1855. Here, we will explore the history of the mining industry in the region while walking through converted stables and enjoying views of the Tunal River canyon.
Our final destination is the El Pueblito Ecological Park, an area featuring green spaces, volleyball courts, zip lines, and hanging bridges. During our visit, you will have free time for lunch, with local recommendations including elotes (corn on the cob) and carnitas (pulled pork). The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe can also be visited.
After a day of exploration, we will begin our return journey, arriving at your hotel approximately 8 hours later.
