La Ferrería & El Pueblito Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel for a day trip to some of Durango State's most beautiful spots.

First, we will visit the La Ferrería archaeological site to learn about the lifestyles of tribes such as the Nahua and Tepehuano, and later sedentary groups. The site includes a ball game, traditional houses, terraced houses, and petroglyphs that illustrate the settlement's history.

Next, we will explore the former hacienda La Ferrería de Flores, established in 1855. Here, we will discuss the mining industry's significance while walking through the renovated stables and enjoying views of the Tunal River canyon.

Then, we will visit the El Pueblito Ecological Park, an area with open green spaces, volleyball courts, zip lines, and hanging bridges. You will have free time for lunch; we suggest trying the elotes (corn on the cob) and carnitas (pulled pork). The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe is also recommended.

After a fulfilling day in Durango State, we will begin our return journey, arriving at your hotel approximately 8 hours later.
