On this full tour of Edinburgh, we'll visit the city's most important monuments and museums, including the Castle, the Scottish National Gallery, and The Georgian House.
Tour Details
We will meet at the Johnnie Walker shop on Princes Street to begin the tour of Edinburgh's most popular tourist attractions. First, we’ll visit Charlotte Square, Rose Street, and George Street, where we’ll share interesting facts about Edinburgh, including information about the Hotel Balmoral and the Scott Monument.
Next, we'll visit the National Gallery of Scotland, showcasing works from prominent Scottish artists like Sir Henry Raeburn, Alexander Nasmyth, and the Glasgow Boys & Girls. You will have free time to have lunch in a city center restaurant.
After lunch, we’ll explore the Old Town, seeing landmarks such as Greyfriars Kirkyard, the famous Royal Mile, and St Giles' Cathedral. The tour concludes with a visit to Edinburgh Castle, where we’ll provide a guided tour of key areas like St Margaret's Chapel, the prisons, and the Great Hall, including the One O'Clock Gun.
This tour lasts 5 to 5.5 hours, concluding at the Castle exit.
