Explore the history of Holy Island dating back to the 6th century. Visit the ruins of the Priory, ancient Castle, and try the famous mead. Continue to Alnwick, a lively market town with the impressive 11th-century Alnwick Castle. Walk around the town or explore the castle complex and gardens, known for being a Harry Potter filming location. Cross the River Tweed into Coldstream, a historic town on the border, and possibly visit Flodden Field, the site of the 1513 battle.

Entrance fees are not included. Choose to visit Lindisfarne Priory, Lindisfarne Castle, Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Gardens, or both castle and gardens for varying prices. Some attractions may not accept credit cards, so bring enough cash.

Itinerary is subject to change based on the Lindisfarne tidal timetable. On June 24th and July 10th, Lindisfarne visits may be replaced by Bamburgh Castle due to tides.
