While in the Scottish capital, embark on our Outlander tour through Edinburgh to see iconic sites from the hit series!
What to Expect
Meet us at 351 High Street, near St. Giles Cathedral, to start the tour through the Scottish capital and enter the world of Outlander.
We'll begin by walking to the famous Royal Mile as we discuss Scotland's storied past from the 18th century, highlighting Claire Randall and the Craig Na Dun stone circle.
A standout site is Bakehouse Close, where we'll find the printing press company that Jamie Fraser worked at and where the main characters reunite after 20 years. This is a prime spot for a photo next to the iconic staircase.
Next, we'll visit Canongate Tolbooth, a former courthouse and prison featured in many Outlander scenes filmed in Edinburgh. Nearby, Tweeddale Court is where Claire meets Fergus again in season 3.
Throughout the tour, we will elaborate on traditional Scottish traditions like Gaelic, the language spoken by Jamie in the series. If you're a fan, you might know the word Sassenach!
After nearly 2 hours of exploration and immersion in 18th-century Scotland, our Outlander tour concludes near Holyrood Palace along the Royal Mile.
