Petra and Wadi Rum 2-Day Tour from Eilat

Jordan's most important archaeological site and a World Heritage desert are the focus of this 2-day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum.

Itinerary

Day 1: Eilat - Aqaba - Wadi Rum

We will meet at the designated meeting point in Eilat and, aboard a bus, enter Jordan to visit Aqaba. We will explore the narrow streets and see the grand mosque, known for its pristine white color.

The tour includes a visit to a 16th-century Ottoman fortress with views of the borders of Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. After free time for lunch in Aqaba, we will head to Wadi Rum for a 4x4 safari to discover its landscapes, including the Valley of the Moon. The day ends at our camp for overnight stay, accompanied by dinner and a desert sunset.

Day 2: Wadi Rum - Petra - Eilat

On the second day, we will visit Petra, a two-hour drive from Wadi Rum. You can purchase a picnic for breakfast on the bus.

The guided tour of Petra will reveal the history of this site, also known as the Rose City, along with its notable buildings like the Tomb of the Obelisks, the Theatre, and the Treasury. We will provide two hours of free time at the site.

After lunch, we will return to Israel, arriving at the departure point in Eilat at approximately 19:30.

Accommodation

This tour includes one night at Magic Rum Camp. Options include a standard double room or a superior room resembling a space tent, both with en-suite bathrooms and wifi. If unavailable, we will provide similar accommodations.

Pickup is included from various meeting points in Eilat. The booking process will provide a list of available points to select your preferred start location.
