Petra Trip 1 or 2 Days

Travel from Israel to Jordan on this 1 or 2-day trip to Petra. You can travel to Eilat on the same day or stay near the archaeological site for an extended visit.

Description

Day 1: Eilat - Petra

We will collect you from your hotel in Eilat at the scheduled time and proceed to the border with Jordan. In less than 2 hours, we will arrive at Petra, a location featured in one of the Indiana Jones movies and designated as a World Heritage Site with origins over 2300 years old.

A guided tour of Petra will reveal its history, including the Nabataean Civilisation. Highlights include the Treasury of Petra, the Royal Tombs, and the theatre. Your camera is recommended.

After the tour, dinner will be at a local restaurant, followed by relaxation time in Wadi Musa. We will return to the hotel for the night.

Day 2: Petra - Eilat

After breakfast, we will return to Petra, allowing you to explore the site at your own pace and visit additional monuments, including the Petra Monastery and the Great Temple.

In the evening, we will begin the return journey to Eilat, arriving at your hotel around 8 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes a night of accommodation with breakfast at either the 3-star Venus Petra Hotel or the 4-star Sella Hotel Petra, in double rooms in Wadi Musa. If these hotels are unavailable, alternatives of a similar category will be provided.

1-Day Trip to Petra

If you prefer a shorter trip, choose the 1-day Petra trip, allowing return to Eilat at 8 pm the same day. This option includes admission to the archaeological site, a guide, and lunch.
