Petra Trip 1 or 2 Days

Travel from Israel to Jordan on this 1 or 2-day trip to Petra. You can travel to Eilat the same day or stay near the archaeological site for more time there.

Description

Day 1: Eilat - Petra

We will collect you from your hotel in Eilat and depart for the border with Jordan. In under 2 hours, we will arrive at Petra, a World Heritage Site with origins over 2300 years old. You will participate in a guided tour of Petra, learning about its history and the capital of the Nabataean Civilisation. Key sites include the Treasury of Petra, Royal Tombs, and the theatre.

After the tour, dinner will be at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel in Wadi Musa.

Day 2: Petra - Eilat

On your second day, breakfast will be provided before another visit to Petra. You will have time to explore at your own pace, visiting sites you missed previously, such as the Petra Monastery and the Great Temple. After exploring, we will begin the return journey to Eilat, arriving at around 8 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes one night of accommodation with breakfast at the 3-star Venus Petra Hotel or 4-star Sella Hotel Petra in double rooms. If these hotels are unavailable, similar alternatives will be provided.

1-Day Trip to Petra

If you prefer a shorter trip, opt for the 1-day Petra trip. This includes admission, a guide, and lunch, allowing you to return to Eilat at 8 pm the same day.
