Esterházy Palace Tour
At the scheduled time, we will meet at the entrance of Esterházy Palace to begin our guided tour of the rooms and exhibitions in this summer residence located in Eisenstadt, Austria. We will walk through the home of the Esterházy family while discussing the story of its illustrious members, focusing on Melinda Esterházy.
During the tour, we will view a variety of historical pieces and treasures of the Esterházy collection, noted for having the largest collection of neoclassical silverware globally. The tour also includes the Haydn Room, associated with composer Joseph Haydn, who served the family for nearly 40 years. We will describe how parties and banquets were held in this baroque hall, completed between 1663 and 1672, considered one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world.
After one hour, we will conclude the guided tour at the entrance of Esterházy Palace, allowing you to continue your exploration independently.
