Activities

Upon reservation, choose your preferred activity in Cerro Frías. All options include pick up and drop off at your hotel or the meeting point in El Calafate.

4x4 Jeep tour

Travel to Cerro Frías hill in a 4x4 Jeep. Stop at a viewpoint at 450 meters above sea level for panoramic views of the Centinela River Valley, then continue to a second viewpoint at 1030 meters to see Torres del Paine, Boca del Diablo, and the Andes peaks.

Horseback riding

Ride across the plains of Patagonia up to Cerro Frías. After a 30-minute ride, enjoy views of the Centinela Valley and Torres del Paine, while observing local wildlife.

Zip lining tour

Begin with a Jeep ride to a platform at 560 meters on Cerro Frías and then experience a zip-lining course with five sections, each about 500 meters long.

This activity is available only from October to April at 8:30 am and 2 pm.

Hiking tour

Hike to the southern slope of Cerro Frías, witnessing landmarks like Lake Argentino and Torres del Paine as well as lenga beech forests.

Ticket options

Tour with lunch

Includes a meal at the restaurant on the southern slope, featuring Patagonian stew and dessert. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.

Tour with an afternoon snack

This option includes tea, coffee, or hot chocolate with a sweet cake.

Tour with dinner

Dinner consists of three dishes: empanadas, lentil stew, and brownie with dulce de leche.

All meal options take place after the activity.

Hotel pickup

Pickup is available at hotels, Airbnbs, and private homes in central El Calafate. For remote locations, meet at the Cerro Frías Office at 35 Tomás Espora Street.
