Desert Lake Excursion + Vespignani Glacier Trek

The tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in El Calafate. We will drive to El Chaltén, making a stop at La Leona River for a break during the three-hour journey.

Upon arrival in El Chaltén, we will take a panoramic road through forests to the tranquil Desert Lake. Here, you will enjoy a half-hour boat trip to view the Huemul and Creston glaciers.

Disembarking at the base of the Vespignani glacier, we will start our trekking route in the nature reserve. The trek will vary in duration between 15 to 45 minutes based on the chosen trail difficulty.

After taking in the stunning Patagonian landscape and views of the north face of Mount Fitz Roy, we will have lunch. Following the meal, we will return by boat to our bus for the drive back to El Calafate.

We will conclude this 14-hour excursion with your return to the hotel.
