Desert Lake Excursion + Vespignani Glacier Trek

After hotel pickup in El Calafate at the scheduled time, we will start a bus excursion to El Chaltén, making a stop for a break by the La Leona River.

Following a three-hour journey, we arrive in El Chaltén and continue through a scenic road with lush forests to Desert Lake. Here, we will take a half-hour boat trip to view the Huemul and Creston glaciers.

We will disembark at the foot of the Vespignani glacier to start a memorable trekking route. The trek duration varies based on the chosen trail difficulty, taking between 15 to 45 minutes.

After enjoying the Patagonian landscape and views of the north face of Mount Fitz Roy, we will have lunch. We then return by boat to the bus for the journey back to El Calafate.

The excursion lasts approximately 14 hours, concluding with a return to your hotel.
