El Calafate Balcony ATV Trip

Argentino Lake, the Stone Labyrinth, and the Stone of the Hats are highlights of this ATV tour of the balconies of El Calafate.

Description

We will collect you from your hotel and begin our ATV trip through the Huyliche mountain range to the balconies of El Calafate. We will drive up to 1,100 meters above sea level, offering views of the Andes Mountains, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, steppe, and Lake Argentino.

After a photo stop at Cerro Huyliche, we will hike down to the El Calafate Balconies for an informational talk on the geography and geology of Cerro Fitz Roy, Lake Argentino, and the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Next, we will descend by 4x4 vehicle to Estancia Huyliche, a cattle ranch from the 1920s. Here, you will have a break for lunch or a snack, depending on your tour time.

Lunch includes a meat empanada, beef casserole, chocolate brownie, mineral water, juice, and a glass of Santa Julia Malbec red wine, with the option to upgrade to a Premium wine. The snack includes coffee, tea, juice, homemade cake, scones, and pastries. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available.

After 4 hours, we will return to El Calafate and drop you off at your hotel.
