El Calafate Balcony ATV Trip

Argentino Lake, the Stone Labyrinth, and the Stone of the Hats are highlights of this ATV tour of the balconies of El Calafate.

Tour Details

We will pick you up from your hotel and start our ATV trip through the Huyliche mountain range to the balconies of El Calafate. Ascending to 1,100 metres above sea level, we will take in views of the Andes Mountains, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, steppe, and Lake Argentino.

After a photo stop at Cerro Huyliche, we will hike down to the El Calafate Balconies for an informational talk on the geography and geology of Cerro Fitz Roy, Lake Argentino, the Perito Moreno Glacier, and more.

Next, we will return down the mountain in a 4x4 vehicle to visit Estancia Huyliche, a historic cattle ranch from the 1920s. You'll have a break for lunch or a snack, depending on your tour time.

Lunch features a meat empanada, beef casserole, chocolate brownie, mineral water, juice, and Santa Julia Malbec red wine, with an upgrade to Premium wine available. Snacks include coffee, tea, juice, homemade cake, scones, and pastries, with gluten-free and vegetarian options available.

After 4 hours of exploration, we will return to El Calafate and drop you off at your hotel.
