El Chalten and Mirador Condores Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel in El Calafate and set off along Route 40, through Patagonian landscapes, around Lake Argentino and across Santa Cruz and La Leona rivers. After a brief stop next to La Leona, we will continue alongside Lake Viedma with the Andes Mountains in the background, arriving in El Chaltén, where we will visit the Interpretation Centre. From there, we will embark on a gentle hike of about an hour and a quarter.
The hike leads us to the Mirador de los Cóndores viewpoint, offering a panorama of Cerro Torre and Mount Fitz Roy, as well as surrounding glacial landscapes. After taking photos, we will return to El Chaltén for lunch at a local restaurant, including a main course and a non-alcoholic beverage. Following lunch, we will take a 30-minute hike to the Chorrillo del Salto waterfall. Bring your camera to capture these cascades.
After visiting the waterfall, we will return to El Chaltén, where you will have one hour of free time. We will then head back to El Calafate, arriving at your hotel between 8 and 9 pm.
