Estancia Cristina Hike & Boat Tour

The tour begins with hotel pickup at the scheduled time, followed by a drive to Estancia Cristina. After approximately one hour, we will arrive at the Punta Bandera quay and board a boat for a 2.5-hour ride along the Upsala channel, where you'll see the Upsala Glacier.

Upon arrival at Estancia Cristina, you'll board an offroading vehicle to reach a viewpoint with views of the glacier and the Southern Patagonian Ice Field.

The tour includes a 14-kilometre hike through the Cañadón de los Fósiles, where your guide will point out significant million-year-old fossils. A lunch break will take place midway, providing two sandwiches, a biscuit, fruit, and water. We will return to Estancia Cristina by 5:30 pm.

Afterwards, we'll sail back to Punta Bandera, where a vehicle will return us to El Calafate, completing approximately 12.5 hours together.

Tour without Transfers

If you prefer to travel to Estancia Cristina independently, you can book without transfers. Meet your guide at the pier at Punta Bandera at 8:15 am. The return boat will drop you at the quay at 7 pm.
