Excursión en 4x4 a los Balcones de El Calafate

Argentino Lake, the Stone Labyrinth, and the Stone of the Hats are among the natural sights on this ATV tour of the balconies of El Calafate.

Tour Details

We will collect you from your hotel and commence our ATV trip through the Huyliche mountain range to the balconies of El Calafate. We will drive up to 1,100 metres above sea level to enjoy views of the Andes Mountains, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the steppe, and Lake Argentino.

After a photo stop at Cerro Huyliche, we will hike down to the El Calafate Balconies for an informational talk about the geography and geology of Cerro Fitz Roy, Lake Argentino, and the Perito Moreno Glacier.

We will return down the mountain in the off-road vehicle to visit Estancia Huyliche, a cattle ranch from the 1920s, where we will learn about its history and take a break for lunch or a snack, depending on your tour time.

Lunch includes a meat empanada, beef casserole, chocolate brownie, mineral water, juice, and a glass of Santa Julia Malbec red wine, with an upgrade option for a Premium wine. Snacks consist of coffee, tea, and juice with homemade cake, scones, and pastries, or a gluten-free option of pumpkin soup, lentil stew, and brownie, and a vegetarian option with an empanada, vegetable stew, and brownie.

After 4 hours of exploration, we will return to El Calafate and drop you off at your hotel.
