Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel and begin our ATV trip through the Huyliche mountain range to the balconies of El Calafate. We will ascend to 1,100 metres above sea level, enjoying views over the Andes Mountains, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the steppe, and Lake Argentino.

After a photo stop at Cerro Huyliche, we'll hike down to the El Calafate Balconies for an informational talk about the geography and geology of Cerro Fitz Roy, Lake Argentino, and the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Next, we will descend in a 4x4 vehicle to visit Estancia Huyliche, a cattle ranch established in the 1920s. After learning its history, we will take a break for lunch or a snack, depending on your tour time.

Lunch includes a meat empanada, beef casserole, chocolate brownie, mineral water, juice, and a glass of Santa Julia Malbec red wine, with an option to upgrade to Premium wine. The snack features coffee, tea, juice, and homemade cake, scones, and pastries, with gluten-free (soup, stew, brownie) and vegetarian (empanada, stew, brownie) options available.

After 4 hours of exploration, we'll return to El Calafate and drop you off at your hotel.
