Why Visit the Glaciarium?
Visiting the Glaciarium is a way to learn about the origins of Patagonian glaciers. You'll explore two halls that provide a range of information about Patagonian ice, including the sound of melting ice and photographs of glaciers taken by various photographers. The center features interactive screens displaying the problems caused by climate change, particularly in areas like the Upsala glacier. Additionally, you can experience a flight over the glaciers in the Glaciarium cinema, with the film lasting approximately two hours, allowing you to watch it for as long as you wish.
Your ticket includes a transfer service from El Calafate to the Glaciarium, departing from the Secretaría de Turismo office at the Municipal Parking Lot on Calle Primero de Mayo, next to Avenida del Libertador San Martín.
