Kayaking in El Calafate

Discover the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier. Kayak through Los Glaciares National Park and explore this unique natural environment.

Activity Details

We'll meet at the designated meeting point next to Los Glaciares National Park. This area, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is home to the breathtaking Perito Moreno Glacier.

Upon arrival at the glacier, participants will be equipped with thermal suits, dry suits, boots, and gloves. Instructors will conduct a short theory class on kayaking and review basic safety rules.

Following the briefing, participants will enter the kayaks for an unforgettable experience on the water, lasting approximately an hour and a half. This activity provides a unique perspective of the glacier.

After kayaking, a hot drink will be served in a cabin. Participants will then have one hour to explore the glacier or enjoy a picnic they have brought along.

The entire activity will conclude after 4 hours at the original meeting point.

Transport & Lunch Option

During booking, you can select an option that includes hotel pickup and drop-off. If chosen, pickup will occur from your accommodation in El Calafate an hour and a half before the activity begins and includes lunch, extending the tour duration to 7 hours.
