Tour Details

This trip offers an opportunity to explore the Los Glaciares National Park, featuring hiking trails and boat sailing for a comprehensive view of Patagonia. The tour begins with hotel pickup followed by transportation to the port of Punta Bandera, from where the boat trip along the Canal de los Témpanos on Lake Argentino sets off.

The first stop is Toro Bay, leading to a 45-minute hike through the Patagonian forest, where participants will encounter various trees including a significant century-old guindo tree. Following this, hikers will visit a waterfall for a rest and then continue towards the hanging glaciers of Cerro Negro and Cerro Mayo, engaging in a leisurely hour-long walk amid icy scenery. A stop for lunch will be included while enjoying panoramic views.

Next, the group will sail towards the Perito Moreno glacier, allowing for an hour of free time to navigate the footbridges for standout views of this impressive ice structure, which reaches almost 80 metres high.

The tour concludes back at the port of Punta Bandera, where transportation will be provided to return to El Calafate, with a total duration of 10 hours.

This activity can also be booked without transfers at a reduced price. Participants opting for this should arrive at the port of Punta Bandera by 9 am on the day of the activity, meeting at the Solo Patagonia dock.
