Tour Details

This trip offers an opportunity to explore the Los Glaciares National Park through a combination of hiking trails and boat sailing. After pickup from your hotel, we'll proceed to the port of Punta Bandera, where we will embark on a boat trip along the Canal de los Témpanos in Lake Argentino.

Our first stop is Toro Bay, where we will hike for 45 minutes to observe the wildlife in the Patagonian forest. The trail includes views of various tree species and a notable century-old guindo tree with a trunk over three meters in diameter.

We will continue to a waterfall for a rest before approaching the hanging glaciers of Cerro Negro and Cerro Mayo. This segment includes a one-hour hike among icy mountains, with a break for lunch while enjoying scenic views.

Next, we will sail towards the Perito Moreno glacier, where you will have one hour of free time to walk along the footbridges offering views of this almost 80-metre high ice wall.

The tour concludes back at Punta Bandera, where a vehicle will return you to El Calafate, totaling 10 hours of activities.

This activity is available without transfers for a reduced price. Participants must arrive at the port of Punta Bandera by 9 am at the Solo Patagonia dock.
