Tour Details
This trip provides the opportunity to explore Los Glaciares National Park through a combination of hiking trails and boat sailing, allowing you to experience Patagonia's landscapes from various perspectives.
After hotel pickups at the scheduled time, we will head to the port of Punta Bandera for a boat trip along the Canal de los Témpanos of Lake Argentino.
The first stop is Toro Bay, where a 45-minute hike will introduce you to the wildlife of the Patagonian forest, featuring diverse tree species, including a notable century-old guindo tree.
Next, we will walk to a waterfall for a break. On our return to the boat, we will approach the hanging glaciers of Cerro Negro and Cerro Mayo, where a one-hour walk will occur among icy mountains, including a rest for lunch with panoramic views.
Lastly, we will sail to the Perito Moreno glacier, allowing one hour for exploration along the footbridges, which showcase the glacier's nearly 80-metre high ice wall. The tour concludes with transportation back to El Calafate after 10 hours.
