Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in El Calafate and take you to the Los Glaciares National Park.

We will stop at the Los Pioneros harbour for a 1-hour boat trip through Lake Argentino. After the boat ride, we'll begin our first hiking route, which covers 1.2 miles (2 km) and ends on the shores of Lake Frías. We will then board a Zodiac boat to cross the lake, followed by another hike of 2.8 miles (4.5 km) through a forest of hundred-year-old lenga beech trees and a glacial valley.

Next, we will reach the Lake Frías Superior area, known for its icebergs and panoramic views of the Dickson, Cubo, and Grande glaciers. We will take a break for a picnic lunch consisting of sandwiches, a cereal bar, dried fruits, alfajor, sweets, fruit, mineral water, and orange juice.

We will return to the starting point by boat and hike, then back to your hotel in El Calafate after 12 hours together.
