Experience the unique customs, traditions, and culinary delights of Argentinean culture in Patagonia through our visit to a local ranch combined with a stunning boat trip near the renowned Perito Moreno Glacier.

Boat Trip Overview

At the designated time, we will pick you up at your accommodation in El Calafate and embark on a journey to the Nibepo Aike ranch, located on the southern shore of Lake Argentino, adjacent to the Brazo Rico.

Your time at this iconic ranch will provide insight into authentic Argentine rural life. The experience begins at the sheep shearing shed, where you'll witness an engaging demonstration of shearing. You will also observe various tasks performed by the skilled gauchos.

These hands-on activities are bound to stir your appetite, and you'll recharge with a traditional Patagonian meal. This includes roasted lamb served with fresh salad, local wine, and a delightful dulce de leche crêpe. Following your meal, we will proceed to the shores of Lake Argentino for a thrilling boat ride on the Brazo Rico.

Upon reaching Monedas Beach, a leisurely walk through a lenga beech forest awaits. This trail leads you to a unique viewpoint of the Perito Moreno Glacier, accessible exclusively through this adventure.

After soaking in the stunning scenery, we'll board the boat again to cruise alongside the south face of Perito Moreno. During the journey, savor a whisky served with glacier ice along with some chocolates. We'll pause for another stop on land to appreciate magnificent views of this impressive glacier from the footbridges, ensuring a quieter moment for your exploration.

We will conclude our excursion by heading back to the shore of Lake Argentino, followed by a return drive to El Calafate. You can expect to arrive back at your hotel approximately 10 hours after the initial pickup.
