Nibepo Aike Ranch Visit & Perito Moreno Boat Trip
- 10 Stunden
Discover the customs, traditions and gastronomy of the Argentinean culture of Patagonia on our Nibepo Aike Ranch Visit & Perito Moreno Boat Trip. You'll learn about local traditions and go on an unforgettable boat trip next to the famous Perito Moreno Glacier.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll see you at your hotel in El Calafate and drive to the Nibepo Aike ranch, located next to the Brazo Rico on the southern shore of Lake Argentino.
During our ranch visit, we'll immerse ourselves in rural Argentine customs and traditions. We will start with a shearing demonstration and observe other tasks performed by the gauchos.
After the rural activities, we'll enjoy a traditional Patagonian lunch featuring roast lamb with salad, local wine, and a dulce de leche crêpe. After lunch, we'll head to Lake Argentino for a boat ride on the Brazo Rico.
We'll disembark at Monedas Beach for a gentle walk through a lenga beech forest. The walk culminates in a viewpoint of the Perito Moreno Glacier, which is only accessible on this excursion.
After enjoying the views, we'll return to the boat to sail along the south face of Perito Moreno. A glass of whisky with ice from the glacier and chocolates will be provided. We will also stop at the Perito Moreno footbridges during a less crowded time for unparalleled views.
We will then sail back to the shore of Lake Argentino and return to El Calafate, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 10 hours after pickup.
