Lago del Desierto Trip
Pickup from your hotel will be at 10 am, followed by a road trip of just over one hour with stops to admire Patagonia's landscapes. Upon arrival at Lago del Desierto, you will have approximately five hours of free time to explore. Options include navigating the lake on tourist boats or hiking to the top of the Huemul Glacier. If you stay at the lake's shores, enjoy views of Mount Fitz Roy at 11,000 feet and the abundant vegetation of Patagonian forests, including native white oaks and Antarctic beeches. After five hours, return to your hotel around 5:30 pm.

Boat ride
For a 45-minute boat trip around Lago del Desierto, tickets must be purchased in cash on the day of the activity upon arrival. The ticket price is 16,000 ARS. Boat departure times: January and February at 12 pm and 2 pm; March, November, and December at 12 pm.
Hike
To hike along the Huemul Glacier, pay the hiking route access fee in cash, which costs 600 ARS. The 2-kilometer (1.2-mile) route takes around an hour and a half for a round trip.
