Discover the spectacular landscapes of Patagonia in a unique way with a kayaking trip from El Chaltén, paddling down the Vueltas River through some of Argentina's best scenery.

Las Vueltas Kayaking Trip

We will meet at the indicated time on Avenida San Martín street or your hotel (option depending) in El Chaltén, before traveling north to the Laguna Cóndor mountain refuge. There, you will receive a brief presentation on kayaking equipment.

After the theory, we will embark on a kayaking adventure along the Río de las Vueltas (Twisting River). For the next three hours, we will navigate this meandering water flow through Patagonian landscapes, with the steep snowy summit of the Fitz Roy massif in the background.

This river passes lakes, glaciers, and forests, showcasing the natural jewels of Argentina. You will have the opportunity to take pictures from the boat.

The kayak journey concludes with a return to the Condor Lagoon refuge. We will then take you back to El Chaltén, arriving after a total of 5 hours.

Pickup Info

This activity includes pickup at the indicated time from hotels in the center of El Chaltén. For those staying in more remote areas, pickup will be at 56 San Martín Avenue.
