Experience the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia in an exciting way with this kayaking trip starting from El Chaltén. Paddle through the stunning Vueltas River and immerse yourself in some of Argentina's finest scenery.

Las Vueltas Kayaking Trip

Participants will meet at the designated time on Avenida San Martín street or at your hotel (depending on the chosen option) in El Chaltén, before heading north to the Laguna Cóndor mountain refuge. Here, an introduction on how to use the kayaking equipment will be provided.

Once the briefing is complete, it’s time to hit the water! Our kayaking adventure will begin on the aptly named Río de las Vueltas (Twisting River). Over the next three hours, we will navigate this winding river, surrounded by stunning Patagonian landscapes, topped by the majestic snowy peaks of the Fitz Roy massif.

The journey along this spectacular river features lakes, glaciers, and forests, showcasing the unique beauty of Patagonia. While paddling, you will encounter the natural treasures of Argentina and have opportunities to capture memorable pictures from the kayak.

The kayaking excursion concludes with a return to the Condor Lagoon refuge. From this point, transportation will be provided back to El Chaltén, with the total duration of the activity being approximately 5 hours.

Pickup Info

This activity includes pickup at the specified time from hotels located in the center of El Chaltén. For those situated in more remote areas, the pickup will occur at 56 San Martín Avenue.
