2-Day Trek on Mount Fitz Roy

Day 1: El Chaltén to Poincenot

We'll gather at the specified time on Avenida San Martín in El Chaltén. From there, a minibus will transport you to the El Pilar area, marking the beginning of your self-guided trek across the stunning landscapes of Mount Fitz Roy.

Your journey begins with a one-hour walk to the Piedras Blancas Glacier viewpoint, a perfect spot to pause and soak in the incredible vistas. Continuing onwards, you'll follow the path toward the Río Blanco river, gradually ascending towards the Laguna de los Tres. In approximately two hours, you will arrive at your destination, rewarding the effort of the hike!

After a well-deserved rest, you can proceed to the campsite for dinner and to set up for the night. Congratulations on completing the first day!

Day 2: Poincenot to El Chaltén

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the base camp to fuel your energy levels for the return trek.

Once breakfast is finished, you will begin your journey back to El Chaltén, where our team will be waiting for you. You can expect to arrive by 5 pm.

Accommodation

This adventure comprises 1 night's lodging in double tents at Poincenot Camp. Dinner is provided on the first evening and breakfast on the subsequent morning. Additionally, you have the option to include lunch, which will be prepared for you on both days of the hike.

Tickets Not Included

Please note that this experience does not cover entry to the northern section of Los Glaciares National Park in El Chaltén. Instructions on how to acquire these tickets will be included with your voucher.
