Vejer & Conil de la Frontera Day Trip

Discover the charm of the province of Cádiz on this day trip to Vejer and Conil de la Frontera. We'll visit these two white villages of Cádiz and learn about their history and main monuments.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll depart by bus from El Puerto de Santa Maria to the interior of the province of Cádiz. The first stop will be Vejer de la Frontera, where we'll take a walking tour of this town that belongs to the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Spain. We'll learn about Vejer's history by visiting the Plaza de España and the Church of the Divino Salvador.

Then, we'll continue to Conil de la Frontera, a former fishing village from the time of the Ancient Roman Empire. We'll visit the Interpretation and Documentation Center of the Sea, Tuna, and Tuna Fisheries and climb the Tower of Guzman for impressive views. Finally, we'll return to El Puerto de Santa Maria after a 7-8 hour day trip.

Itinerary Changes

From January 1, 2026, this day trip will last 10 hours. We will spend more time in Vejer de la Frontera, visiting the Casa y Torre del Mayorazgo, and enjoy 1 hour of free time in both towns to explore or enjoy local cuisine.

Due to organizational reasons, the order of visits may vary, with the possibility of visiting Conil first and then Vejer, where there will be a longer lunch break.
