Tour Details
We will meet at the Esparto Museum, the first stop on our tour of El Romeral.
The esparto grass culture provides insight into the lifestyles of Spanish families throughout history. A portion of this museum is located in a traditional Manchegan house dug into the earth, recognized as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity site.
Next, we will visit the Crestería Manchega, which houses Spain's best-preserved windmill. We will explore the four iconic windmills that characterize this landscape, evoking the era of Don Quixote.
Our final stop will be the Ethnographic Museum, situated in a small subway house. Here we will examine various scenes and artifacts that portray historical ways of life.
After an hour of historical and cultural exploration, we will conclude the tour.
