Located in the region of Grand Este, Épernay is regarded as the French capital of Champagne. The vineyard landscapes are impressive when viewed from Le Ballon d’Épernay, a tethered balloon anchored to the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle.

This ticket allows you to view the city from the air for 10 minutes. Note that this is a balloon anchored to the ground, providing panoramic views of Épernay.

You will see Champagne's vineyards, wineries, and mansions on the Avenue de Champagne, a World Heritage Site. There will be opportunities for photos. Le Ballon d’Épernay operates under the following opening times:

February 5 to April 10

Wednesdays to Fridays: from 11 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pmSaturdays and Sundays: from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm

The last flight occurs 20 minutes before closing time.

April 11 to October 31

From Tuesday to Thursday: from 10 am to 6 pmFridays and Saturdays: from 10 am to 7 pmSundays and Mondays: from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 7 pm

The last flight will take place 20 minutes before closing time.

November 1 to December 31

Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

The last flight occurs 20 minutes before closing time.

On December 24 and 31, closing will be at 4 pm.
