Herculaneum Guided Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the ticket office of the archaeological site of Herculaneum. After distributing tickets, we'll enter together to begin the visit to this ancient Roman city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.

During the guided tour of Herculaneum, we'll discover life in this city during the Ancient Roman Empire while observing preserved buildings. We'll see houses, temples, baths, taverns and over 300 skeletons of eruption victims.

You will also see many colorful frescoes decorating the walls. We'll visit the seat of the Augustan Priests, explore the Forum, check out a bakery, and view the impressive mosaic of the house of Neptune and Amphitrite.

After a two-hour visit, we'll conclude near the exit of the archaeological park of Herculaneum. If desired, you can continue exploring the ruins independently.
