Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Ercolano Scavi station, from where the bus will take you to the Vesuvius National Park. The journey by road will take about 30 minutes.

Once we reach an elevation of 1000 metres, you'll have a total of 2 hours of free time to explore these volcanic landscapes. The views of the Gulf of Naples are remarkable.

Vesuvius is known for the violent eruption in 79 A.D., which buried the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. You can walk along its trails and even reach its crater.

Afterwards, we will take you to the Pompeii Archaeological Park, arriving after approximately 40 minutes. You will receive tickets for this site and then continue on your own.

You can explore Pompeii at your own pace until it closes. Its perfectly preserved frescoes and buildings provide insight into life during the ancient Roman Empire. Notable sites include the House of the Faun, temple of Apollo, Forum, and the Lupanar.

After your visit, you can make your way back to Herculaneum by train or bus, stay overnight in Pompeii, or travel to Naples or any other destination of your choice.
