Herculaneum Guided Tour

At the indicated time we'll meet at the ticket office of the archaeological site of Herculaneum. After distributing tickets, we'll enter together to explore this ancient Roman city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.

On this guided tour, we'll uncover daily life in Herculaneum during the Ancient Roman Empire while viewing well-preserved buildings. The tour includes houses, temples, baths, taverns, and over 300 skeletons of eruption victims.

In addition to the buildings, you'll notice numerous colorful frescoes adorning the walls. We'll visit the seat of the Augustan Priests, the Forum, a bakery, and view the stunning mosaic of the house of Neptune and Amphitrite. You'll be left speechless!

After a two-hour visit, we'll conclude near the exit of the archaeological park of Herculaneum. You may continue exploring the ruins independently if desired.
