Corcovado River Rafting
Upon reservation, choose between a 13-kilometer (8-mile) or a 22-kilometer (14-mile) rafting route. Both options include an English-speaking instructor, necessary equipment, and a snack or picnic lunch.
Half-day rafting (3-4.5 hours)
From the base camp, we will drive to the river. After a brief safety introduction, we will embark on the rafts. This activity will cover 13 km (8 mi) in about 2 hours, navigating class II and III rapids amidst the Andes Mountains.
The route concludes by the cement bridge crossing the Corcovado River, where we will enjoy hot drinks, sponge cakes, and typical sweets. Afterward, we return to the base camp.
Departure times: 10 am and 2 pm
Full-day rafting (6-7.5 hours)
For this option, we will meet at the base camp and head to the Río Hielo area. A brief introduction precedes the longest rafting descent in Argentina, covering a 22-kilometer (14-mile) route with moderate-high difficulty, facing class III and IV rapids for a total of 4 hours.
Midway, we will stop for a picnic lunch including a steak sandwich, fruit, a sweet, and water. After the break, we will continue to the Carreleufú footbridge before returning to the base camp.
